In light of the debate on the future of television at the UbiQ conference – traditional TV dead vs transition argument – this handy YoutTube video offers a brief history on TV’s evolution.
Huge technical difficulties last night so no posting. No net connection at hotel – netbook showing strong wifi signal but no web connection. Hotel staff (thank you Mama Shelter) jumped in with tech support today and we are running.
As for the important part – Ubiq – there are four big takeouts: Content, Distribution, Data and MOBILE. Last is capped for a very good reason. Much more attention should be paid to this growth market. Worldwide near 100pc penetration. And smartphones becoming first screen for so many.
